Vladimir PutinPutin was born on October 7, 1952 and received a law degree. He was hand picked to lead the country and became president in 2000. After serving two terms he stepped down and made way for his successor Dmitry Medvedev who appointed Putin prime minister. he was re-elected in 2004. And Putin has been leader ever since. There have been many public issues since his election, such as a recession and an accused election fraud.
